I am applying for a university course in Business, which is the best area to study?

My options are business marketing, business admin, business management or business studies. theres also a double degree which is communications [advertising] with business [marketing]. i would like to know which courses are easiest to gain a job with, which ones are highest paying and which ones are most engaging. p.s. i am doing the australian education system, probably different to american one.

Either business admin or business management would be the easiest to get a job with. It’s hard to say which ones would be highest pay, they all would be starting off around the same, aside from business studies; which is so general that you would most likely make less money due to getting a lesser job. The double degree would definitely be the most engaging, or just business marketing if you want to know the most engaging out of the single degrees you listed.

You should opt for one which has a component of work or internship incorporated into your course.

E.g. James Cook Uni in Australia http://www.jcu.edu.au/teaching/idc/groups/public/documents/advice/jcuprd_052432.pdf

or e.g. in Northumbria University in UK…they offer a compulsory placement together with their Masters…these type are usually a great opportunity to look for a job in future; looks great on ur CV as well as a network opportunity u can build upon
